Happy Friday!

💡 Here is a quick idea before you head off for the weekend:

Looking for a simple prioritization framework on what to build first? Use these three buckets:

1. **Functional**. Features that cover the basic functional tasks. This should be your top priority to avoid users struggling to accomplish simple tasks.
2. **Performance.** Features that are not mandatory but they add convenience to the experience.
3. **Excitement.** These are the small surprises and unexpected experiences that connect with users' emotions.

50/30/20 is a good ratio to balance all three. You don’t want a product full of wow effects but failing to cover the basics.

Start with a solid foundation and move towards a [memorable product](https://www.cesarrg.com/memorable/).

**✉️ Post from this week**

Apple is losing the AI race or is this part of a (very) intentional design strategy? This week I wrote about the design strategy of companies such as Apple which focus their selling pitch on what you can accomplish through technology, rather than the technology itself.
