***Weekly Retro** **is a short e-mail with a wrap-up of ideas from the week, interesting links I found, and food for thought before you head off for the weekend.*

Happy Friday!

Reporting back after a period away from posting.

I’m writing these words from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I spent the week talking with customers at an AWS Retail event about managing digital products and, in particular, the role of [Product Managers in the age of AI.](https://www.cesarrg.com/when-products-think-navigating-the-ai-product-shift/)

These interactions are such rich experiences as you start to understand how challenges (and fears) are common across companies, regardless of size and complexity.

Changing the mindset from [command-based to intent-based](https://www.cesarrg.com/when-products-think-ai-product-flywheel/) interactions in products is not trivial. Production-ready solutions are slowly gaining traction, but there is still a long way ahead. How to measure productivity created by AI is not straightforward. How AI will change us as humans is extremely subjective.

Is a mix of fears and opportunity. How you engage with this reality will make a difference. You can take it as a threat and push back against the change or you can take it as an opportunity to explore, learn and iterate. Everyone is taking a decision today.

These are interesting times. Such a potential ahead of us waiting for builders and curious people to generate the next wave of world’s prosperity. For everyone!
