The race to **automate** everything in business feels right...but often is the wrong race.

There is nothing worse than automating processes that **shouldn't exist** in the first place. It's like building a high-speed train to a destination nobody wants to visit.

Filter the noise from the essential. Remove what's unnecessary. Focus on what generates value.

*Then* consider what to automate.

In a world where anyone can automate almost anything, what makes you **unique** \- as a business or as a professional - is what really matters.

In a future where there is "Moore's law for everything" the cost to implement new ideas will not be the constraint. 

Finding the **best ideas** will.
